I bought some wheels off ebay, rear is advertised as needing a new spoke. Said new spoke will be included. Wheels arrive, new spoke is not included, braking surfaces are very worn and the hole for the new spoke is fucked. I message the seller asking for £60 it will cost me to buy a new rim at trade price. He declines. I open ebay dispute, he responds with an offer of £40 saying he still thinks he is in the right but doesn't want to seem unfair. I reply declining the offer saying I'm not seeking recompense, but the cost of the new part to make the wheels useable then go and click the "yes" button at the bottom. Ebay pop ups fuck up (again) and register it as I accepted his offer.
Fucking shit bags.
So now I have sent him another message saying I know I fucked up and he can send me the £40 rather than £60 because ebay is a steaming pile of manure and I will just have to deal with it.
