no it's too heavy, it's a 26" 2.5 tyres weighting 1,125g which is a lots, whether the Big Apple ( 26" 2.35) weight about 800g, closer to a 700c 28c Marathon Plus (745g).
I am getting a Surly Pugsley with 26" 3.7 tyres which weight about the same.
