Just came back on Eurostar with bike in bag, no reservation needed but it needs to go in the special storage bays in carriage 10 (or sometimes 9) and no charge, even though this is the same storage used for complete bikes!
My planet X bike bag is well padded and you can buy or borrow it, if you cam get over to west London today to collect? Am in Ealing, not far from Northfields station. £50 to buy, complete with lots of pipe lagging and bubble wrap to pack bike safely, plus free instruction on packing! Am in all day.
