That is much higher than the initial suggested prices a couple of years ago - guessing early adopters will be swallowing a lot of the R&D costs.
But as you should get left and right power out put its still better than a hub for data capture.
And so many ANT devices will be able to pick it up even previous iterations of the garmin (eg 705) can receive power information.
