Winning an auction on eBay is legally binding, you might want to remind the seller of that, as well as neg rep their ass. Not suggesting you act on it, but you could theoretically take them to court for breach of contract. Last time this happened to me I got hold of the seller's phone number and called them to point this out, that was a phone call they weren't expecting...
