Wasn't possible for me to reproduce the original paint (big dollars) so I opted for the simple solution.
Still got most of the original components, Mirage and Xenon Campy stuff which will probably go back on it to start with. Needs a triple chainwheel urgently! Watching a Centaur
on ebay right now but it's looking to go silly with 1 hour to go: (

What I'd like and what I can afford are two totally different things: ) But this a special machine and it'll be fun sorting it out and getting it back to life.
It was rescued from the recyclers so whatever happens to it is better than what it was destined for a couple of months ago. A lugged Max frame is pretty rare and deserves a good try.
I'd welcome other peoples suggestions too, actually.
It's a bit of fun, but much cheaper than girlfriends; )
