Has anyone ever had their pedal straps nicked?
I was thinking about getting some of these

I've used straps before, but none quite as desirable as these! Is there anything I can do to make them less nick-able? I'm not planning on leaving the bike anywhere for much longer than 5 minutes at most, but those thieving pikey bastards work fast.
Shall I just get some bog standard ones and not take the risk?
