Even more so then. For a commuter you want no nonsense parts.
Mine might have been faulty, and I do mix up low cadence out of saddle grunting with hi speed spin work with little in between.
Got a race face signature Ti ISIS BB from about 8-10yr ago, when/if it breaks raceface send out a fresh one. Luckily I'm still on the first one, and its been on a SS MTB for about 6yr. £120 well invested I think.
