A girl called Ellen got hit by a Saab 93 convertible ( KU58UHM ) at around 9pm.
No major damage, the Saab had pulled away from the lights too fast and the driver said SMIDSY.
The bike was OK, and whilst Ellen went into shock for a few minutes, she appeared to come away with only a few cuts and grazes though her ankle could yet reveal some damage as on her ride the rest of the way home she seemed to be in pain from that. Her shoes looked a bit screwed up too.
Numbers were exchanged, and there should be a peaceful resolution as the driver was also in shock and admitted fault (hard not to when you speed away from lights).
This thread is just here as a matter of record in case they contact me, as I witnessed it.
