  • hi,

so i got a 170mm campa strada crankset with 135BCD, and if i want a 1/8" chainring my only options seems to be a Specialites T.A.(not thinking about Gebhardt as they don't fit the style of the cranks). these are priced around 35gbp.
however, i stumbled upon a pair of andel/zenith track cranks with 165mm/144BCD for 62gbp. still within my budet range and maybe easier to work with as the BCD is far more common and i might prefer the 165mm cranklenght(plus i plan to rebuild the bike i got the strada from in the winter).

so basicly i would like some advice on how to proceed: get the andel/zenith and be set with, or is it worth to use the campa and later on(maybe with a bigger budget) get a comparable crank, having a chainring around with no use at all?

oh, and a bonus question: i got a phil wood rear hub, which BB(ITA threaded) would you suggest for either of the cranks to get a nice chainline?
