This year I'm really struggling to see any improvement, last year massive gains came unbidden and underserved. I think last year was Year 3 of 'Proper' riding, but all the miles tend to blur together once a winter has passed.
(17.9mph is an average I'd be pleased with, and struggle to obtain, over any distance >60 miles)
