Moving average a whisker under 20mph.
(But Nick knows this, because he was there, whooshing along right beside me)
For all the bravado, I was the one that cracked in a hungry and empty wreck at about mile 95. And don't forget Nick rode back, while I ate egg sandwiches and snoozed.
Still not sure how I'm going to do it this year, probably gently and fixed. don't think I have any flying anywhere in me atm. my distance legs have withered a bit, unused since easter.
