reckon this lacquer-thing works on cars?
e.g. magazine-pages glued (or appropriately attached) to the (metallic) paint, then lacquered-over..
.. saw quite an effective lacquer-finish on a bicycle frame, might have provided inspiration for a new livery for a lady-voiture
