Richmond to Brighton via Box Hill. Met some hilarious bankers at the cake stop.
We had a vague plan to take in Box Hill, Ditchling Beacon and Yorks Hill via Lewes in one day but the headwind beat us up and it all went a bit pearshaped when I couldn't find the bike path to Lewes so we ended up bailing at Brighton. Dammit.
Is there a way to get from Brighton to Lewes without taking the A27?
