Haven't been following the thread, ooops. Looks like we've got a great day of polo ahead of us! If you need accomodation, please email us below, I will try and sort you out something. We've heard on the grapevine that train times may be an issue on the day, but luckily it seems no summer works are planned (yet!) :)
We'd like to email each team a bit of info for the day/weekend, could a team member of each team please send a mail to cambridgebikepolo@gmail.com confirming team members, and we'll reply in due course with a brief set of details, to keep you in the loop. I'd like to re-affirm to everyone that our tournament will be a test-bed for teams doing reffing (one head ref, and two goal refs) as a whole, so please reacquaint yourselves with the NS rule-set and be prepared for it. We probably won't have copies of rules...
Also, would the Head ref for National Series (I am a bit drunk but assume this is BBill?), be so kind as to confirm you're happy to be the 'head ref' for the 'Training Day'? I'm thinking, quick meeting with ALL of the teams in the morning to bring everyone up to speed with the 'Team ref' idea, and maybe some catch ups during the event. Again, the idea of the day is to play some great polo on our awesome court, learn a few new things and become acquainted with National Series without the pressure.
