I see that you are a member of the Cycling Enthusiast Group and therefore thought this message would be of interest to you, and that you could lend me less than five minutes of your time.
I would like to ask you to take a look at a proposition of mine toward the mayor of London. I suffered the loss of a good friend who was killed in an accident while on her bicycle only a month ago.
Her friends and I have decided to take action and try to put pressure on the Mayor of London to make improvements in terms of safety for cyclists in London.
To do this we have created a petition to highlight what we think the Mayor of London could do to start making these improvements.
The first idea is to install mirrors at crossroads which are very cheap and easy to implement.
If you believe the measures will save lives & prevent other peoples friends & families from suffering the same grief I and Paulas family have suffered over the last month then feel free to add your name.
Thanks for reading, and if you have any other ideas on how I can create awareness about this issue then please don't hesitate to let me know, and if you have any friends & family who cycle then feel free to pass it on to them.
And if you are a cyclist yourself, then please take care on the roads.
