seems a bit odd, would like to use a modern crankset but the 37mm chainline is a bit of a problem. With a 2.5mm spacer on the hub I can get 39.5 but might just use 2x 1mm spacers to be on the safe side or does it matter how much thread is engaged? Theres still enough room for the lockring to fully thread on with 2.5mm spacer.
Ill be using a shimano road double with a shorter bottom bracket, would like to get within 1mm of perfect straightness.
Anyone ever used such a hub before? Its no name 'made in England' 40h chrome steel
