    You're right though lynx, but if you don't know any of the background*, why don't you just go offer to save someone from impending peril instead....or something.

    *We're talking about factory-made wheels, which spin true, but were properly tensioned for a long-term test.....the tester being between 18-19stone.

    I think I do, as I remember you got them for free to test. Is that right?

    Also bought a few sets of cheap wheels from on one (fixed and single speed) and wiggle (geared), all were machine build and were fine and didn't need anything doing to them, even the cheap wheels from decathlon which the rims wore out and never need retensioning during that time.

    So now offering to help people is being used as a bad thing? Either be objective and accept that the wheels weren't fit for purpose/confidence hence you doing what you did.
