Carbon risers arrived from Carbon-Zone today and they erm, look good on the outside. Internally, the varying thickness and surface of the moon texture don't fill me with the most confidence. To alleviate my fears somewhat I performed a strict scientific experiment to determine if they would be up to the job. I balanced them between 2 piles of books and jumped on them. The result, a sore right foot arch and some bars I have a little more confidence in. They're going on. I shall not be buying the forks though, and probably wouldn't advise anyone else does unless you're willing to take a huge risk on quality.
As a side note. They have arrived quicker than the bike I ordered over a week before these and which has been 'being built' since last wednesday somewhere in Sheffield. Go China!
