maxxx it makes all the difference in the world, if you don't know that maybe you need to do a bit of reading before you start asking the god people of the forum for stuff. Use the search up there on the right hand side and start a looking up bikefit/sizing. You don't want to force your body to fit the bike, you'll just make the experience of riding a trial, you want the bike to fit you.
If you'll be using the bike for anything other than quick jaunts from home to shop, sizing is everything. Don't make the mistake buying a bike which is the wrong size, too big or too small as it'll make riding a chore and an achy experience rather than a joy.

I appreciate your help man, im going to have a read around. I just thought it would maybe to picky to ask for an exact specification when i am only after people's unwanted spares or what not. I guess i was lucky with the thew bikes i have ridden in that case then. But i understand what you mean so thanks again
