says the helicopter came and then he went by ambulance to UCLHopsital, about 200 metres away.
The main benefit of the helicopter is to get two A&E specialists and equipment to the casualty very quickly. If there is a good A&E hospital nearby going by ambulance is less risky than having to secure the patient for a helicopter ride.
