Shimano cranks are ugly beyond belief and the shifters used to look like erect dog penis' with cables coming out the side. That apart it's fine.

SRAM is partly owned by Lance Armstrong so can fuck right off as far as I'm concerned (along with Trek and Nike).

SRAM is for winners. It is noisy so other inferior road users can hear you coming and move the fuck out the way. It is also the most pretty.
