i used the triple for the fireflies tour last year.. it was too easy, so this is now for off season riding around the chilterns / surrey hills / north downs / flanders / cotwolds.. with steeper climbs, much steeper than the alps.. this bike has become second best as a heavier bike for winter training
hoping that the compact 11 speed on the new carbon bike for the summer ^same hills and alps will be better for me, just didn't want another triple groupset to be honest.. and nice to have a difference, probably look down and curse 'where's that granny ring' when i need it on ditchling beacon or sunrising lol !!!
