Yes indeed ;) It would have been useful to a have a large frame to shelter behind.
Yesterday was good. I felt reassuringly tired when I got home...cold, hazy, what felt like a constant stiff breeze: good times!
I liked that route very much. Some fab rural lanes, beautiful little towns, and what would have been great views if the mist hadn't descended in the 'noon.
Thanks to Skully and Bill for navigating. I wonder if Bill is still thinking about that train at Elsenham?
