Road bike recommendations

Wasn't sure where to post this, but Dan seems sorted and it seems to have evolved into a general road bike thread. Had my first ride yesterday on this ebay find, a 2011 Condor Baracchi. The bike had covered a total of 2 miles under the first owner. The colour is a candidate for the anti thread, but I like it anyway. Felt great and I immediately loved the Doubletap system, even though am used to Shimano. (Smallfurry can probably sympathise with the colour selection). Cost was little more than the frame alone, so I thought it was a result. Main concern is that I am not fast enough for this...

Not really feeling the white bits, but meh. Never thought I'd see that yellow-red grouppo look good. Actually love the yellow spokes too.
I think its the uber understated frame.

My yellow build's looking good. After managing to keep the yellow to frame pattern, tape, and saddle (OK Hoods and pedals too). I was thinking it would look alright.....

....but then I bought a load of black and yellow Skins cycling gear. So I'm destined to look a tit afterall.
