Thanks to all for your advice tho i just scored a new record 13-23 instead, on ebay for a buy it now £25 free post, so i snapped it!!
In answer to your question, im mainly spinning around town but who knows? A hill may come up,somewhere in my adventures and i could end up in a hilly district...in which case,id give it some welly til i thought F*** this!
So i got 52/42 on the front and in a day or 3, 13-23 in the back,which im pretty sure is what i have now but the backs grungy, anyway out with the old, in with the new. Is this a good general gear ratio or is that too broad a question?......
Also Barbieri Pro 8 speed chain....£5.95 free post on ebay...Any good??? Or should i just cough up £21 for a campag chain or a couple of quid cheaper for a KMC ??Im gonna write a separate post regards to this as it looks alright and its only £6.
