Thanks Neil - tbh I don't have a grouppo manufacturer preference. My shitty Sora shifters on the Merckx have the thumb trigger and I quite like it actually. If I really hate it then I can sell it and buy DA I guess. Not looking forward to replacing the £200 block on the back!
It's sad about Cannondale really - they make lovely bikes and are a great company but they always seem to have problems with distribution and infrastructure.
