Beautiful Rory O'Brien Low Profile time-trial frame, fork, campagnolo headset, and campag bottom bracket and alloy seatpost. Other parts on the bike are not included.
£160
Bought this frame from james that has the bike shop down by the canal,
British hand built - From the late eighties
Lightweight Reynolds 753 Steel Tubing
Everest BB Shell
Metallic Purple to Yellow Paintwork
Dents, there is a bit of rust around the cable holes as well as general wear, a few scratches here and there but nothing major, as expected from a frame of this age. Seat post seems to be jammed, but haven't tried WD40 etc, it has only been a few months since i changed the post so im sure it will pop out with some elbow grease.
Small blemish to paintwork where the front derailleur was fitted (Cannot be seen anyway when front derailleur is fitted) small 8mm chip in rear chain stay.
Frame Sizing: 590mm Seat-tube (Centre-to-top) / 550mm Top-tube (Centre-to-centre) / Frame was custom built for5'11'' rider
British BB threading / For 27.2mm Seatpost / 1" threaded steerer for quill stems / 130mm rear spacing / 100mm front spacing / Two sets of bottle bosses
Paper thin clearance at the rear
Designed for 650c Front Wheel / 700c Rear Wheel (Wheels pictured are NOT included in auction)
Rory O'Brien had two well known shops in the Romford/East London Area, his frames are well renowned for being quality and were apprently built in nearby Dagenham, Greater London.
This would make an awesome retro time trial project
