Good tip, thanks. Will have a think about that. This will be a good-weather bike, so grime should be kept to a minimum. Might have to make it part of my maintenance regimen to pop the post out and re-grease fairly regularly.

My Quil seatpost is carbon, and my seattube aluminium. So its not really comparable. The fact that the Qoroz Race Won, has that seal does make me think it could develope on all metal set-ups too though.
