While buying a couple of diney films for the lil un on amazon it threw up these thorogood boots as a recomend. Go figure the predictive programming on that, i've never bought anything other than books and music from them. They are pretty much the same as redwings but the toebox is a bit lower so they aren't quite so clumpy. Personally i like my redwings but if you are looking these are a good price. As they say ' i saw these and thought of you', I know a vibram sole isn't 'proper' but the uppers are:
