Proper leather shoes

Sounds like you've taken them to the right place. I was asking if they were wet because from the photo it looks like the leather has been damaged, but as you're getting them covered by rubber again then it's no issue. Good luck.

picked them up this morning. tidy new stitching and new soles on, looks really neat. hopefully it'll last longer than 2 months this time...

pisses me off they cut the threads at city cobblers, if i understand it right a goodyear welted shoe can be re-stitched 2-3-4 times, and i've just spent one of them already...
