  • If you mean the XR-300 or the newer XR-380 then just have a look around Roadbikereview. They are the goto rims for lightweight semi-aero alu wheels. Bearing in mind....

    The Kinlin rims reach their low weight partly by being narrow and having a thinner brake track. So they are better suited to 25mm or smaller tyres, and wear a tad quicker than some others.

    A 30mm rear rim, laced 28 2x, with a 27mm front laced 24 radial. Would make a nicely balanced wheelset, for the average weighted rider.

    If I was using them in londons-stop/start-london. I'd go for lightweight low profile rims, that I could spin up quickly though.
