• Is it just me or does the phrase 'he collided with a car' jar a bit in that article? The Islington Tribune says he was 'in a collision' which I imagine is much more appropriate:

    Saying that he 'collided with a car' would imply to most people it was his fault.

    That phrase occurs in news reports all the time--I've sounded off about it before. It seems that it just keeps getting used again and again.
