    The Islington Gazette has a report today on the death of Colin Hawkes. It says it was at the junction of Carleton Rd and Pleshey Rd which gives the impression that there was a collision at the junction. (Most cyclist deaths occur at junctions.)

    At the site the police notice asking for witnesses and the flowers tied to railings are away from the junction in the direction of Brecknock Rd next to a pedestrian island. That gives the impression that the cyclist was hit from behind while cyclist and driver were weaving round parked vehicles and the island.

    We still have no hard information about what happened.
