2011-01-19 - Rider Down/Fatality, Carleton Road/Pleshey Road junction, Holloway

Dr Hawkes was 64 and cycled from Woodford Green to Islington, quite a trek. The road is a quiet residential road, I can't work out how the fatality happened.
It is a branch of popular backstreet cycle routes linking Hornsey, North Holloway and Camden. Colin was going south on Carleton road. A car driver was turning right out of Pleshey road into Carleton road. The driver didn't look or didn't see and collided with cyclist ... ... I don't know how fast the car or cyclist were going ... ... RIP
