This is terribly sad and a catastrophic waste of a really good and important man. Dr Colin Hawkes was a keen cyclist and also one of the country's leading child abuse experts who worked in a senior position at the NSPCC's National Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service. He had worked for the NSPCC for 17 years.
