• For sale is this damaged Raleigh Special Products Lo-pro frame only. Mid 90's.

Like many others, I had full intentions of getting this lo-pro fixed and building it up into something special but all its done is collect dust in me shed! Raleigh Special Products was set up to build and develop more cutting edge high end performance frames of the times and I believe mainly produced frames under the dyna-tech umbrella of Raleigh.

The frame itself is in ok condition with a few scratches to the paintwork and a bit of minor surface rust. The decals are also peeling a bit.
The main issue with this frame is the down tube. It has poped out of the headtube lug(fotos)! I'm told its easy to fix but never got around to it. Maybe someone on here has had a similar experience and can give some info?
Other things of note would be the static dropouts, so if you were planning on running it fixed you'd have to magic gear it! Bolt through fast back stays. Nice! And the geo is to suit a 650 front end.

    Seat tube ctc 57cm
Top tube ctc 57cm (actual length)
    27.2 seatpost.

Would suit someone who lives near or knows a welder or frame builder to fix this.
    Based in Oxford.
Dibs then first serious PM gets it.
    Payment via bank transfer.
    £30 posted.
