No champix for me, one of the people in my smoking clinic had a trippy experience on champix at work, said it freaked me out. NRT for me all the way, used patches for the 1st week and some lozenges, now just have a lozenge in the morning lunch and in the evening and have an inhalator for when I drink.
It really hasn't been too difficult and I would fully recommend it. At first you fancy a cigarette but the patch/ lozenge stops your body/head from needing one so you forget about it quickly. The pub is the only thing I'm not looking forward to and I have decided I'm not going to get pissed until the end of the month. Body is feeling better for no fags/booze and the combined saving will mean I can buy something at the end of the month with the money I have saved >£300.
