the blue mask is probably my favourite lou reed album - robert quine is such a brilliant guitarist.
also his work with richard hell is highly recommended.
at action park by shellac is also fucking great, as well as the aforementioned hounds of love (despite the slightly guff production) and slates by the fall, slanted and enchanted by pavement... so many others
i listen to most albums all the way through. it seems silly not to when every song is good.
