Talking about dinner parties and "What's Goin' On" though.. about ten years ago I was watching Gary Rhodes on TV for some unknown reason..you know the BBC uses about 30 seconds of all kinds of music for about a penny a time to add life to its magazine programmes? some dufus at the BBC had decided that "Inner City Blues" would be the perfect musical backdrop to Rhodes talking you through creampiping a blancmange... oh the humanity......
