    Part of it is also about sharing the experience, for a lot of people its about reappraising the albums, making the time to listen to them from the top. I have a feeling quite a few of us already own a number of the recordings on the list but it's interesting for people to actively chose to devote the time to sit down and listen.

    The Marvin Gaye is one of those albums that is so often heard in shops, dinner parties etc, it was good to revisit and pay it proper attention. De la Soul took be back to being 16 all over again. Not all of us are as well versed musically so I had never heard the 2nd side of hounds of Love despite knowing the singles from it very well.
