Just thought I'd chuck my 2p in re the bspoke www.bspoke.com review... bspoke review.
I got the bspoke Holland Casual Trouser and the 100% merino bspoke Russell mens top.
I got the large top and it is *very *large. My Rapha fixie jacket (I bought it on the strength of the name) is L and so are my Torm bits and bobs. The cut is shit and it looks a bit cheap. However, I got them for snowboarding not cycling, so I'm fine with the cut and size and at ~£15 for 190gsm 100% Merino it's a good deal imo. I'd probably be a lot less happy if I'd got the bspoke Mens Edgware for cycling. Also looking closely at the stitching, it seems visually rough, but ok quality, if you get me.
(oh the high neck is not high, it's low)
As for the trousers... very strange they seem highish at the front and low at the back!?! I haven't cycled in them, but as they were meant for commuting I'm sure they'll be at least as good as trackie-Bs, or jeans. They're quite big, both in the waste and the general cut. What's funny is now I look at the picture, I've realised they give a very good indication of what they look like. Anyway, for £18 I wasn't expecting much and just wanted a more practical alternative to tracksuit bottoms...and really what do you expect from £18 trousers - altho I realise they were meant to be £61.49... but I wonder if any were ever sold at that price.
Lesion, you sometimes get what you pay for... but sometimes you don't care. I shall be sticking to Torm and Rapha sales from now on.
