• I think the vid is actually a bit of a cross over between two cultures. Perhaps even an homage from a new culture to another older culture, if I might poke my head up my own arse for a moment.

    I liked the look of the film. Nice atmosphere, etc.

    Concentrated to hard on the descent, feeding the thrills of the 'fixie skidder'.

    Bottom line is, though, the chap hauled his arse up a brutal climb, on fixed.

    We, as a group, should be applauding.

    He's an old fashioned 'pass stormer', in his own way, only clad in fashionable duds, aiming at a young market.

    Lets face it, most fixie skidders will never have heard of the Passo Dello Stelvio, bt a chap on a nifty bike has suddenly introduced them to an older world, a nobler time.

    Perhaps some of those hipsters might be inspired to take the sport seriously.

    It's all good, in my book.
