Did you remember to take the green mesh off the fat balls? They are death traps for the feet of little birds - they get caught, panic, and end up cutting their feet off!
You can get dispensers to load fat balls into, or just put them in your usual peanut feeder. You can even cram peanuts round the fatballs, for extra yum.
