In B & M it's nearly all shambling dregs. They sell some stuff like rugs with white tigers on them and framed prints of stock shots of moody saxophonists in black and white.
Also, they have a weird till policy that mainly deals with cash. For debit cards they get out big whirry hand held machines that look like they're cloning your card. Then they make you sign instead of typing a pin.
I never went to the Eastern Block, but I bet it was all like B & M Bargains.
