I fancy going to Le Gavroche for a belated birthday celebration. How much am I likely to end up paying? The website has a sample menu but no prices.
Will I have to book months in advance?
Will they be all snooty and french at me if I ask for a reservation for one?

No, but take the afternoon off and go for lunch - set price thingie ftw.

Can't recall how much, but not so much, as have had friends who have done lunch and loved it.

Or... Michel Roux owns a new restaurant on Parliament Square, and there you can have the set dinner menu for £25 odd quid - done that and really good value, his only other restaurant in town. You have to hunt through to I think page 147 or something silly of the wine list to find the cheapest bottle of plonk at £18....

I'd defo go back!
