Sorry, some confusion here.
Pictures in this thread are of current 1930's flat.
We are buying another 1930's flat.
The current flat, whilst the windows are as you have seen has no damp issue.
The one we are buying does- although I think a little ventilation will sort them.
It is a first floor flat with cavity walls, concrete post and lintle construction with masonry partition /external walls.
