Giving up sugar is easy, likewise salt. Give it a week and the stuff will taste so bloody strong that you have hardy bear it. I used to be a milk and two man being the spawn of stout yeoman type stock; anything more than 1/4 spoon in a coffee if I feel I need a pick-up is just too much. Just do it and all that.
