Any maths buffs?

ok so i watched horizon on monday night about what was there before the big bang

they came up with a number estimating how many parralel universes there are

it was 1 to the power of 10 to the power of 10 to the power of 7

anyone any idea of what that fuck that is ?? how does one work out something to the power of something to the power of something else ??

Maths and I aren't very closely acquainted these days, but isn't it just another way of expressing 1*10^700? Or in other words 700 zeros.

Towards the bottom of this wikipedia article there's a couple of numbers expressed in similar fashion. Not sure why, expect that powers of 10 might be mathematically 'neater'.
