*sunday polo is slack polo and greg is right, there is a possibility people would sack off sunday polo more if they knew they could play on a thursday night. i've not really considered sunday polo as the main polo day for a while though, it's kind of informal and that's what's cool about it.
*an extra hour on a tuesday would be great if only to give everyone a bit more play time, however there is a problem with this in that most people can't get to the courts before 7:30, so ultimately this probably wouldn't work and be fair to all IMO. do you want to hang about with say two other players with the lights burning brightly just to play bum face knowing you're paying for it?
*a thursday night polo sesh would be ultimately awesome, but only if we can muster up at least 6 players who'd be up for it. currently the poll is only showing 6 people as having an input. last time i checked there's more cambridge polo players than that!
*the point made about an alternative court is one we've sort of already covered a little bit to death. i really think the Arbury skate park court is brilliant for polo, after a little play there weekend before last. the surface feels like Birmingham and the court is bigger, and crucially the lights are free til 10pm every night! only issue is location.
I for one would be down for an Arbury exodus on Sunday with a contingent of players, just to give it a go, if anyone else is down with that? could drive and take some bikes.
i agree with everyone here:
